The 3rd annual SnowDay, a benefit concert for Beardsley Community Farm will be hosted at Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria at 7 pm on Friday, January 21st, 2011. Beardsley Community Farm is Knoxville’s only urban demonstration farm helping to get fresh, healthy, local food to Knoxville’s underserved communities. SnowDay will feature seven local bands, a soup contest between some of Knoxville’s finest restaurants, an inaugural Beard Pageant (open to both men and women), and a silent auction. Featured musicians include Christabel and the Jons, Kevin Abernathy Band, the Vaygues, the Theorizt, Ian Thomas, Mountains of Moss, and the Great Great Pines.
